Asia Budget Travel, A Real Trip Man!

You will be hard pressed to beat Asia for budget travel using everything from cheap flights from Singapore, tuk-tuks in Thailand, boats from Manila, trains in Vietnam, horse carriages in Myanmar to Pedi cabs in Cambodia, travel in Asia is always a trip!

One of the neater things in Asia is the different modes of travel available to you on vacation. You want to see the scenery, so taking land transportation is going to be the cheapest, really allowing you to see the country and save money to boot.

In most of Asia the two most common budget stretching modes are buses and trains.

Buses today in most of the region are in fairly good condition going from the major cities on major routes. On a cost per mile basis they usually are the best performers. First class buses will have rest room facilities on board as well as air-con. Most buses in Asia will have some sort of entertainment usually popular films on DVD or VCR players.

Trains in the Asian region are all over the place as far as comfort and how modern they are. For the most part expect the trains to be older. The first class on most trains are comfortable if a little pricy, but if you take over night trains you can save on a hotel night stay which will bring the real cost down, but depriving you of viewing all the scenery. Another benefit of night trains that I like is that most night trains will you get into a city early, so you can find out by examination and by talking to other travelers where the best deals are on cheap accommodations.

For the horses, Pedi cabs and tuk tuk's those are best for local trips only, but they will almost always be the cheapest you will find in Asia and great for the photo albums.

Is US Losing Influence In East Asia?

While in East Asia, many countries are cooperating more for their economic development.
The sad thing about this is, these countries are relegating US.
Look at the current eclipse of US, you can figure out something that is behind the scenes.

Two major countries there, that are called United State’s allies, have given bitter statements lately.
This year, in January, Japan’s prime minister said that that the Bush’s Decision of Iraq invasion was completely wrong.
And similar statements were given by Australia.
If we remember, Japan has recently pulled out its troops from the Iraq.

Moreover, the next question that was raised was about Logistics Support to US given by Tokyo.
Japanese prime minister, however, does not look satisfied with the statement of the defense minister.
This is no secret anymore. The real thing is that US is loosing its influence from East Asia.

The summit in East Asia lately does not consider US, a powerful member of the firm.

The sad thing about this omission is that three major countries, India, New Zealand, and Australia are not the key player on East Asia.

In spite of it, the china is becoming a emerging player in East Asia.
That is because of the eclipse of US in East Asia Summit.
So US have to think over some strategy to gain its influence in East Asia or with the time the situations can be worse.

If the country does not figure out something, the others countries that are key player in East Asia, will become more and more powerful and US will keep loosing its influence.

History Of Asia Best Observed In Person

Asian history is best observed in person by visiting parks, museums, artifacts, and religious monuments.

Asia has been in many wars and has a blood history. A little after 2500 BC one of the most ancient civilizations that we know was Asia. Asia is a continent that has been very important to the world. The first traces of civilization began in Mesopotamia, a part of Asia. This Civilization is known as Sumeria. Like some other civilization, Sumeria started as a separate city. They built great temples and strong army. This was headed by Sargon. After his death this civilization fell apart. Another interesting discovery was the China. The Chinese put a new way of life. They discovered lot of new things. The best example is the great wall of China. The only man made structure visible from space. Really those people are putting new examples in front of everyone. China is covering large area of Asia.

Asia was having tough time in 20th Century. We can not forget the great wars like Gulf War, World War II and Vietnam War. During world War II, there was great loss to Asia. Japan the part of Asia Continent suffered a lot in that War. They were bombing by US two times and the bad effects of that still can be seen. They had to pay a great amount that time. Like this Asia had many hidden facts about it. It is not possible to bind this whole thing in words. Asia being a big continent is always the centre of attraction. Many tourists come to visit many historical places in Asia. They explore on culture, literature and other aspects here. Really Asia is having many magical facts hidden.
